One of the best ways for me to get a better study of course is to write down what I am learning. It is so easy to just read the scriptures but I notice that when I make the effort to write things down and especially set aside a specific notebook or binder for my scripture study it helps me to stay focused.
I made these printables so that we could improve our scripture study. In the August 2013 there is an article that discusses ways to make family scripture study and personal study better. You can find it here. I patterned these printables off that article. There are different pages depending on how you are studying: topic, guidance, or question. There are also labels so you can sort your pages. I am putting mine in a binder, slipping the cover page in front and then printing off the others as I need them. I also like to alphabetize my topic study pages so they are easy to look back through or add to as I go along studying.
